so.
being stricken with a mighty infectious agent these past days, i have been wont to pause to listen to the cbc amidst all my whining and dozing and tea drinking. for anyone who has listened to said state radio for any protracted length of time, you will be familiar with the certain feeling of familiarity and warmth one feels for the news bites you get ten-second updates on every hour on the hour. or i can only presume. if you, as well, are a sentient being. which i guess you are. hello, and welcome.
anyhow.
the great disappointment of the day is canada's food guide! okay, well, it's rather sound i guess, bland, whatever. but the link to order yr own copy on the very day the press release went out is broken!
for shame, government! i'm not even going to point out the typos on the web version. i'm not a petty person like that, gentle sentient reader-being.
anyhow.
i was slightly pacified by the availability of free online ordering for health canada publications. i suggest you join my petty one-woman lament, in all my poverty and my worklessness, friends, and download a few copies of "Parlons franchement de la marijuana" on ole kellista's behalf. because the bureaucrats fail in even the simplest of ways.
imagine if it was a 'carbon conscious' greenhousereducing enviroguide to the eats! i guess that would be too radical. i must be crazy. pass the corn oil.
